We Need Your Help to Realize the Vision!
Over the past five years, we have been working hard to develop the foundations of our love and begin to articulate the guiding vision we have been gifted. For over three years, we have been experimenting with initial praxis (theory in practice) as members of the Turtle Lake Community Farm in beautiful Durango, Colorado. These efforts have looked like designing and implementing a community-based regenerative food system, facilitating a 6-month community design processes, building two tiny homes, hosting a weekly neighborhood market stand, facilitating donation-based wilderness rites-of passage ceremonies, holding seasonal celebrations, offering community-based education, and generally weaving networks of greater localized resilence. These place-based initiaves and efforts have taught us so much and yet we are being called to new contexts and environments to cross-pollinate ideas, deepen our knowledge-base, and apply our frameworks to novel contexts and scales.
Along with our deepening love vows, we are being invited to take our next steps forward in serving our humble role in the great turning of our times. While the vision is clearer than ever, the resources to actualize that vision are still being grown. Although we have contributed much over the last three years of community-based leadership, everything has been offered on a gift, donation, or sliding scale basis. This means that although we have accrued immense wealth in terms of lived experience and profound interpersonal connections, our financial means do not reflect this wealth of experience and connection. Thus, we are for the first time inviting support from our community in order to help us catalyze core facets of this next stage of our development as individuals and a partnership. Through supporting our relationship as we enter into sacred union, you are helping tend the fertile conditions that can support this next phase of our relational health and expression.
